GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WZZM) -- A former deacon accused of stealing money from his Grand Haven church is facing additional charges.
Joseph Finnigan, 73, was bound over to circuit court Tuesday.
Prosecutors also added two counts of 'larceny of $20,000 or more' to his case.
Finnigan was originally charged with embezzling more than $20,000 in November. The Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids says he admitted to stealing the money from collection plates at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
