UPDATE: Consumers Energy has restored power to the more than 1,700 customers who lost it after a crash in Walker Sunday evening.
The power was restored around 6:40pm.
WALKER, Mich. (WZZM)- Consumers Energy is investigating a power outage in the area of Alpine Avenue and 3 Mile Road that happend around 5:45 Sunday evening.
The outage is affecting over 1,700 customers including area businesses along Alpine Avenue.
The affected outage runs from Brisol Avenue to the west, 3 mile to river, 4 mile to north and just before Pannel Avenue to the south.
Street lights are also affected. As reminder intersections should be treated as a four way stop during a blackout.
The cause of the outage has not yet been determined.
