CASNOVIA, Mich. (WZZM) - Heavy fog and wet road conditions are to blame for an accident involving a school bus and pick-up truck in Muskegon County.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on East Apple Avenue (M-46) and South Canada Road.
Authorities say the truck was headed southbound on South Canada Road when the driver struck the rear of the bus. The crash forced the bus into a ditch, where it came to rest on its side.
Two students from Kent Intermediate Schools were on the bus, but no one was hurt.
Police were scheduled to reopen East Apple Avenue/M-46 around 5:30 p.m.
