Weather whiplash: Arctic blast after spring-like temps

(WZZM) - You could call it a shock to the system: A 35 degree temperature drop in less than 24 hours. Parts of West Michigan reached record highs Tuesday and Wednesday as the thermometer hit 60 degrees. But by Thursday the mercury barely climbed into the 20s. 

Along the lakeshore the concern had been ice jams and rising rivers, but now road conditions are at the top of mind with one foot of lake effect snow predicted by Saturday.
