KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WZZM) - Emily Stillman, 19, a sophomore at Kalamazoo College died Sunday morning due to complications from bacterial meningitis.  Stillman was taken to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo Friday morning around 2:00 a.m.

The health department says the likelihood of more meningitis cases at the school is very low.  The college and the Kalamazoo Health Department provided preventative treatment to almost 120 people who had been in contact with Stillman.

The Student Health Center is extending its hours to reach out to students to provide prophylactic antibiotic treatment, discuss symptoms of the illness, and discuss vaccination recommendations.  Counseling Center staff members have also been available to students.

Emily's funeral is scheduled for 10 am Tuesday morning, February 5, at the Dorfman Chapel in Farmington Hills.
