ALLEGAN, Mich. (WZZM) - Brittany Rector, one two women accused of taking part in a cross country crime spree with two escapees from the Lake County Correctional facility, waived her preliminary hearing in District Court Wednesday morning.
Rector is now bound over for a pre-trial hearing in Allegan County Circuit Court. She faces charges of operating a meth lab, home invasion, and car theft.
Police say Rector, 18, and Laura Grauman, 29, traveled across the country with their boyfriends, Kenneth Grauman, and Greg Bradshaw. They were captured in southern Colorado two weeks after the men escaped.
