GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Have your shovels and snowblowers ready because another blast of winter is headed for West Michigan.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for the WZZM 13 viewing area, effective Noon Thursday through Noon Friday.
The 13 On Target Weather Team is predicting generally 4-8 inches of snow for the area, with heaviest accumulation along and north of I-96. The snow will be heavy and wet and should pick up in intensity through the day Thursday.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Van Buren, Kalamazoo, and Calhoun Counties, with less snow forecast along the I-94 corridor.
