GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - The girlfriend of a homicide victim has pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder.
Christina Marie Kipkorir was the girlfriend of Robert Shields. She also went by the name Christina Miller. Shields, 67, was found stabbed to death in Oak Hill Cemetery on Grand Rapids' southeast side last June.
The Executive Director of the halfway house where Shields lived at the time of his death tells WZZM that he knew the two were together the night he was murdered.
Investigators say Kipkorir had asked Shields for money. Miller pleaded guilty today in Kent County Circuit Court.
