GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Five acres of boats have packed their way into DeVos Place for the 68th annual Grand Rapids Boat Show.

Over 25 West Michigan boat dealers are unveiling the newest and best watercraft from nearly 100 manufacturers in attendance.

People coming to the show will see Tiaras, Ranger Tugs, SeaRay, Cutwater, Great Lakes Catamarans, Pursuits, Regal Sport Coupes and the "Queen of the Show" - the Cruiser Yacht 45 Cantius, in the Skipper Bud's display.

Over 300 boats will be displayed ranging from 12 to 42 feet, including cruisers, fishing boats, ski boats, pontoons and kayaks.

You'll also find boating accessories and services like marina slips, brokers, ship stores, and ski/waterboard shops. Current boat owners will find a broad selection of accessories, including new advances in lifts, hoists and docks.

New to the exhibit this year is a "Live Shark Encounter" the only traveling shark show in the United States.

If you're into checking out antique boats, the Water Wonderland Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society will be on hand with its display. You can also check out artifacts from the Michigan Marine Museum in South Haven.

For thrill-seekers, don't forget to take a ride in the "MasterCraft VR Express Simulator", which allows you to enjoy the experience of throwing back a roll on a wakeboard or hitting a ski jump at 80 mph and flying through the air.
