New breweries heading to Muskegon
MUSKEGON, Michigan (WZZM) - Downtown Muskegon doesn't have a brewery just yet, but it should have two by next year.
Joel Kamp is teaming up with two other men to open "Pigeon Hill Brewing Company" at 500 West Western Ave. He hopes to restore the 2,500 square foot building and add a barrel aging room upstairs. If all goes well the micro-brewery should open in 2013.
It will be just down the street from the city's first brewery. "Unruly Brewing Company" should open on West Western Avenue this Spring. It will feature four to six styles of craft beer on tap, and wine.
