(WZZM)- Enjoy a weekend full of fun with one of these local events.
Feeling generous? What better way to give back than attending an 80's party in support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids?
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids work to keep kids out of trouble after school. Kids get homework help. They can kick a ball around with a mentor. It's all in hopes of keeping underprivileged children safe and on track.
Saturday, Detroit-based 80's band Square Pegs will be rocking out at the J.W. Marriott in Downtown Grand Rapids. You are encouraged to dress up, but it is not required.
Tickets are $25 at the door. VIP tickets are available for $50, and get you an extra hour at the party and free drinks.
This is a 21 and over party, and starts at 8 p.m.
It's back! Meijer Gardens' "Butterflies are Blooming" exhibition is the most anticipated exhibit the park has to offer all year.
Visitors will see over 6,000 butterflies within the 15,000 square foot tropical conservatory.
The exhibit offers learning opportunities for the kids and plenty of interactive displays.
You can catch a glimpse of the butterflies from now until April 1.
