GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- A 29-year-old man faces murder charges after an assault turned deadly on the city's southeast side.
Tuesday a warrant was issued for Eric Sear on one count of second degree homicide, larceny, and conspiracy to commit larceny.
The charges come from the death of Douglas Barry, 69. Police say Sunday night they discovered someone had assaulted Barry at a home in the 400 block of Adams Street.
Barry died Monday morning. An autopsy shows his death was caused by a head injury.
Sear is in the Kent County Jail.
