GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-A man is in critical condition after falling out of a third story window in Grand Rapids.
The accident happened during an apartment party on Parkway Drive NE, around 1 a.m. Saturday. Witnesses tell police a 20-year-old man sat down on a window sill. The window was open at the time. When the man leaned back, the screen popped out and he fell backwards onto a cement slab below.
The man was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police believe alcohol played a role in the incident. Anyone with information in this case is asked to call police or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
