ALAMAGORDO, New Mex. (WZZM) -- The vehicle belonging to a missing Holland woman has been spotted 1,500 miles away in New Mexico.
Police say a traffic camera along U.S. 70 scanned Emelene Van Dyke's license plate. From the automated camera image, Van Dyke appeared to be driving her Hyundai Accent alone.
Police in Texas and New Mexico are increasing their efforts to locate Van Dyke and her family has been notified of the sighting.
Emelene has been missing since Valentine's Day. Last week, detectives in Holland found camping equipment missing from her home.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Holland Department of Public Safety.
