Purpose and goal for Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Founded in 2003, the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to working with all members of the community to increase the economic advancement of Hispanic owned businesses and to assist the professional growth of Hispanic business leaders in West Michigan.
Impact on the community
Filling its mission by supporting the economic development and growth of member businesses through initiatives that provide access, advocacy, business referrals, marketing opportunities, programs and services.
How community and others can get involved
Becoming engaged either through membership, attending meetings, network events, volunteer opportunities or by joining a committee.
Who specifically is the Chamber for
Hispanic Business Owners, Hispanic Entrepreneurs (1st generation business owners), Businesses/Corporations seeking expansion into Hispanic market (non-Hispanic) and Hispanic Professionals.
Highlight some accomplishments:
Being able to provide more services to members either with partnerships with other community organizations to government agencies. Offer bilingual business consulting to Latinos to assist them start and or grow their businesses. GROW, SBTDC, LINC, LAUP, other surrounding West Michigan chambers.
What: 2013 Awards Banquet
When: March 25, 2013 at 5:30 pm
Where: The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville MI.
Purpose: Recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Hispanic entrepreneurship, the success of our members, Hispanic professionals, and business leaders who have made significant impact within the West Michigan Hispanic community. The event will feature entertainment, dinner, an award presentation and network opportunities for attendees.
