(WZZM) -- The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments Tuesday in the first of two cases involving gay marriage. Attorneys argued for and against California's Proposition 8, which outlaws same sex marriage. Justices did hint however, the case could be dismissed.
Wednesday the Supreme Court will take up the Defense of Marriage Act or DOMA, which legally defines marriage as between a man and woman. The justices will decide whether they can or should issue a ruling to broaden the legal definition of marriage.
From a Biblical standpoint, some argue same sex marriage is against God while others say it is not. Monday, a pro-gay marriage pastor shared his interpretation of Scripture, you can watch that video here.
Reverend Dale Cross from Abundant Life Church of God in Wyoming has a different interpretation of the Bible and is not for legalizing same sex marriage. Hear his viewpoint in the video posted above.
