Lt. Theresa Budzilek of the Grand Rapids Police Department says Malcolm and Trajon Chambers were located riding their bikes toward home.

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Police are asking for help in finding two Grand Rapids boys missing since Monday afternoon.

Malcolm Chambers, 13, and his brother Trajon, 11, were last seen riding to the store in the area of Fulton Street and Lane Ave. on April 1.

Sgt. Stan Lis tells WZZM 13 the boys' mother gave them a few dollars each to buy food at McDonald's on Fulton Street, but they never returned home. Police say Malcom Chambers has run away from home once before, but returned within 24 hours.

The boys' mother reported them missing Wednesday afternoon after checking with friends and likely locations. According to Sgt. Lis, an Amber Alert has not been issued because the case does not meet the requirement of imminent danger.

Trajon was last seen wearing a green and orange sweatshirt and blue jeans, and was riding a new blue and white Schwinn bicycle. Malcolm was last seen wearing a black and white jacket and blue jeans, and was riding a blue and black Mongoose bicycle.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call Grand Rapids Police at (616) 456-3400.
