Skywarn Training Cancelled for Isabella County
ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. (WZZM) - The Skywarn Training scheduled for 10 am today in Mount Pleasant has been cancelled due to flooding across the county.
Every year, the National Weather Service of Grand Rapids provides training sessions throughout west Michigan for residents to learn how to become a trained severe weather spotter. Their assistance is crucial to providing an accurate picture of current conditions especially in less populated areas.
At this time, the training will not be rescheduled.
The next skywarn training session is scheduled for April 27th at 10 am in Harrison, MI. The training will be held in the Clare County Transit Board Room located at 1473 Transportation Drive.
