COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - It was a busy night for the Comstock Township Fire Department in Kalamazoo County. They responded to three heroin overdoses and managed to save all three victims.
The first two overdoses involved a 27 year old man who drove his infant and girlfriend to a home in the 6200 block of Wright Street. The girlfriend, who is believed to have used heroin, lost consciousness. The man's sister also collapsed inside the home and had no pulse. Both victims were revived and transported to a local hospital. The man was arrested for operating with the Presence of Drugs and child endangerment.
The second incident happened just minutes later at a home in the 600 block of Azuba in Comstock Township. A 24 year old woman was found unresponsive and without a pulse in reference to a drug overdose. She was also revived and transported to the hospital. Drugs were found in the home.
The cases are currently under investigation.
