Pres. Gerald R. Ford's centennial birthday celebration

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- Sunday marks what would've been President Gerald R. Ford's centennial birthday.

Events have been happening since Friday in celebration.  

Joining us is Joe Calvaruso, Executive Director of Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, stopped by the Weekend Morning News to talk about Sunday's events.

At 1 p.m., the Presidential Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of President Gerald R. Ford will take place at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

At 2 p.m., a ceremony to unveil the USS Gerald R. Ford Model will take place in the lobby of the Presidential Museum.

The public is invited by the Ford family to attend both ceremonies.
