GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Spectrum Health has received rankings that place it among the best hospitals in the U.S. for three specialties by U.S. News and World Report, according to a release from the healthcare organization.
Spectrum Health's Butterworth and Blodgett hospitals were ranked 20th in gynecology, 25th in diabetes and endocrinology, and 40th in pulmonology. According to spokespeople, this is the first year the hospitals have received a national ranking for pulmonology.
The hospitals also received recognition as high-performing for nine other specialties, including cancer, geriatrics, and cardiology and heart surgery.
