MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- Former Governor Jennifer Granholm is on a 27 state tour encouraging people to take action on climate change.

The I Will Act On Climate bus tour took the former governor to Muskegon Monday morning. Granholm and environmental officials are expressing their support for economic growth through clean energy.

"In Michigan, we don't see energy and clean energy and climate change as an opposition to job creation," Granholm says. "We see it as part and parcel of job creation."

The tour also stopped in Detroit on Monday afternoon.
