GRANT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Michigan State Police believe speed was a factor in a deadly Newaygo County crash.
The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. on M-37 north of 112th Street in Grant Township.
Troopers say the speeding vehicle lost control on a curve, went into a ditch and rolled over several times. The driver was ejected from his vehicle at some point during the crash.
Emergency crews say the driver was dead when they arrived. Troopers say the name of the victim is being withheld until they notify family members.
The highway was closed for four hours while police investigated the crash. That investigation continues.
