WYOMING (WZZM)-- The WORX GT 2.0 is a 3-in-1 grass trimmer, edger, and mini mower all in one lithium powered lawn tool. For anyone who's lugged around extension cords or had to fire up a gas powered tool, the idea of a lithium powered trimmer and edger seems like a much more convenient idea. Bob Brenzing thought so. He helped us test it out.
Bob thought it was a light-weight tool and pretty easy to assemble and use. It definitely did a good job with the grass trimming. It seemed to have the same power and cutting ability as other trimmers he's used.
It was pretty easy to convert into the edger, you just twist the angle and snap on a wheel, although we didn't realize there is a guide that could be lowered to help keep the edger in line. Bob went off track a bit and edged into his lawn instead of along the sidewalk, but we adjusted it and it seemed to do a good job.
After trimming and edging, there was still power. Bob was pretty satisfied with how long the battery seemed to last.
The mini-mower is really just the grass trimmer with the wheel attachment at a different angle, we didn't really try that, because we were satisfied with its trimming and edging capabilities.
Bob bought the Worx GT 2.0 off the infomercial for around $100. It comes with one battery, which did a good job keeping its power, but Bob thought it'd be good to have two batteries.
