AeroMed responds to Solon Township crash

SOLON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Deputies are investigating an accident that left two people injured in northern Kent County.

It happened around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, at 18 Mile Road and Algoma Avenue in Solon Township.

Officers say 22 year old Chad Wehler was driving eastbound on 18 Mile Road when he pulled out in front of another car driven by Kylie Burns, who was traveling southbound on Algoma Avenue.

Wheler car was struck in the driver's side.

He was taken by AeroMed to the hospital with possible life threatening injuries. Burns suffered minor injuries.

According to the Kent County Sheriff's Department alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
