CROTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police are searching for a bank robber who targeted the Independent Bank on Croton-Hardy Road Tuesday afternoon.

The robber is described as a white man in his 20s. About 5' 10'' tall and 170-180 lbs. with long black hair. He was wearing a stocking cap with a black, gray, and white plaid shirt.

He was seen driving eastbound on Croton-Hardy Road in a 2002 gray or silver Buick Regal with a red trunk and blue rear bumper. It had the license plate number: 6GPX68.

Police located the vehicle several miles from the bank and say it had also been seen in the Big Rapids area last week. The suspect is still missing.
