If Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton are still alive, they may now look like this. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children created this age-progressed image of the boys, who disappeared November 2010.

ADRIAN, Mich. (AP) - A jail inmate has pleaded guilty to lying to police when he claimed he knew the whereabouts of three young boys who disappeared three years ago.

Police say they think the boys are dead.

Nine-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton were last seen at their father's home in Morenci in 2010. They were to be returned to their mother, and the disappearance sparked a large search.

John Skelton says he didn't harm his sons. He's serving 10-15 years for unlawful imprisonment.

Fifty-year-old Robert J. Jamison of Adrian was charged last month with a felony of lying to police.

He pleaded guilty Friday in Lenawee County Circuit and faces sentencing Oct. 10.
