Kalamazoo, Mich. (WZZM) - With any surgery comes some pain. Until recently treating the pain after the procedure was done with narcotics which can cause side effects and even the risk of addiction.
A new way to manage post-surgery pain is being done in West Michigan by using a device called the 'On-Q' Pump.
Dr. Larry Bauss, chief of anesthesia at the Surgery Center of Kalamazoo, talks more about the device and how it can help patients.
