HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM)-A Holland church is breathing new life into a former Kmart store that closed three years ago.

Engedi Church held its first services inside its new facility in the Cedar Village Shopping Center Sunday. The church spent seven months renovating the 110,000 square foot space, which was donated by Nassimi Realty.

Despite two expansions in five years, Engedi had outgrown its previous home, located two doors down from the former K-mart. Approximately 1,000 people attend Engedi Church's services each week.
