(WZZM) - The high wind advisory for counties along the lakeshore is over.  The strong winds knocked down tree branches and power lines in several areas of west Michigan.

Nearly ten thousand people in west Michigan lost power due to the high winds.  Consumers Energy says more than three thousand of those are in Muskegon County and 2,500 in both Kent and Ottawa Counties.
