GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- In Grand Rapids, only one City Commission seat appeared on Tuesday's ballot.
The Second Ward covers an area bordered by Four Mile, Wealthy Street, Monroe and an area near the Beltline.
Rosalynn Bliss is the incumbent and has held the seat since 2006. She beat challenger Tom Kent 74% to 26%.
"I'm honored, I'm grateful to everyone who went to the polls today. I love Grand Rapids, I love serving the second ward. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude," Bliss told WZZM 13.
