TEDxMuskegon (November 7, 2013)
MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- Organizers of TEDx events say the meetings create change and make the community a better place to live and work.
One such event was held in Muskegon Thursday. The focus was re-invention.
The talk featured musicians, doctors, community planners, and coaches. All of them have re-invented who they are or what they do in recent years.
This is the third TEDxMuskegon and organizers hope to hold one every year.
"With the connections that will be made, maybe there will be things we will want to rally around and make it come true, so that would be the best case scenario," explained Renae Hesselink, TEDxMuskegon organizer.
The group also played a social media game called "Whose Tweet is it Anyways?" with an improvisational troupe, based on the show "Whose Line is it Anyways?"
