GRAND RAPIDS, (WZZM) - Two students from West Michigan are finalists in the World Series of Innovation competition.
To earn their spots they competed against 700 other students from around the world.
Joshua Kunnen and Jayson Vandyke from the Kent Career and Tech had to develop a new product or service that addresses every-day opportunities as part of the competition.
The two created all-natural cologne. Among the many marketing responsibilities was the creation of a 60 second commercial.
The winner is decided by judge's choice and popular vote.
