MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police hope surveillance video will generate tips leading officers to two robbery suspects.

The Muskegon Heights Police Department provided video from the robbery at the Hackley Liquor Store on Hoyt Street.

Two gunmen with covered faces are seen holding up the store. Police want viewers to look closely at the mannerisms of the men, what they're wearing, and the way they move.

Friday night WZZM 13 talked to Paul Singh, the clerk on duty that night. "They told me 'Give me money otherwise I shoot you!'"

Police say the robbers came into the popular Muskegon Heights store just after midnight while a woman and her teenage daughter were at the counter making a purchase.

"I was working back there stocking wine and I heard something. I came outside and saw they got a gun on Tom and I hide back there-- I don't want to come to the front," recalled Singh.

The owner instructed Singh to never argue with a robber and always hand over the money they demand. He says he did not recognize the men but hopes others will.

If you have any information, you are asked to call Muskegon Heights Police at (231) 733-8900.
