Deontay Demarco Black-Wickliffe
MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- The suspect in a shooting that killed one person and injured three is in custody.
Deontay Demarco Black-Wickliffe was arrested Thursday in downtown Muskegon after making arrangements to surrender to Muskegon Police. Muskegon County Prosecutor D.J. Hilson tells WZZM that he told police where to find him and he came in peacefully.
Gary Ogreen, 21, was killed in the early morning hours of December 21st, when a fight broke out at a party where uninvited guests arrived. Three others were injured.
Alexander Bumstead, 23, was arrested last week on charges of Involuntary Manslaughter in connection with the shooting. Bumstead allegedly pointed out which people at the party should be shot and Black-Wickliffe allegedly carried out the crime.
Black-Wickliffe has not yet been formally arraigned. An Open Murder warrant was issued for his arrest last week.
