BATTLE CREEK, MICH. - If you're still looking for something to do for the 4th of July holiday, you might want to consider the annual Battle Creek Field of Flight Balloon and Air Show Festival.
There were perfect weather conditions on Monday, as the four day of the five-day event unfolded at W.K. Kellogg Airport without interruption.
Monday and Tuesday are the two most exciting days, with the air show consuming both afternoons, featuring some the best aerial acrobats in the world.
While you're watching the planes flip in the sky, there's also concerts to take in, as well as carnival rides and plenty of food.
"It's $10 to get in today, said Bretten Bailey, who is the media director for the event. "We have a coupon on our website that you can print out, and you'll get $2 off, so it'll only cost you $8 to get in.
"We still have several events before the festival ends Tuesday night, including the balloon-launches which take place both tonight and again tomorrow night.
"Tuesday night will be capped off by a big fireworks show."
The grounds open for the last day of the Battle Creek Field of Flight Balloon Air Show Festival at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, and will close at 11:00 p.m.
