Craft Fair at Central Park.

10 a.m. to noon

Ship tours: Tours are free but schedules are subject to change. 2017 ships that will be joining us at Escanaba Park are USCGC Mackinaw, USCGC Alder, USCGC Bristol Bay, USCGC Biscayne Bay, and CCGC Constable Carriere!

11:45 a.m.

The Meijer Grand Parade is a highpoint of the annual Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival. In the 2-hour parade you’ll see marching bands, clowns, military units, local sports teams, dignitaries and many other groups.

Nearly 100,000 people attend and line the streets of “Coast Guard City, USA” to show their appreciation for the valuable service that the men and women of the United States Coast Guard provide to all of us each and every day.

2 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Downtown carnival: Located on Washington Avenue from Harbor Drive to Third Street. The annual Coast Guard Festival Carnival strives to provide a friendly environment for adults and children alike. Furnishing the midway with over two dozen carnival rides, family friendly games, professional food concessions in our food court, and guest amenities like an on-site ATM and help desk, there is something to appease the whole family.

And now, the moment we've all been waiting for -- the Fireworks Extravaganza! Shot off from Dewey Hill across the channel, the fireworks are accompanied by choreographed music from Grand Haven’s Musical Fountain.
