Lt. Gov. Brian Calley shares personal connection to #GiveAHandMI

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Michigan Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley shows his support of the #GiveAHandMI campaign with a touching video.

The #GiveAHandMI began on Nov. 1 and will be ending on Sunday, Nov. 13 at nearly 300 McDonald's restaurants, offering red and white stripped mittens for a $5 donation.

The proceeds from the mittens bought go towards providing more than 600 families of critically ill children places they can call home away from home in Grand Rapids and Lansing. Nationwide, McDonald's are also selling paper hand cutouts for $1, $3, and $5 donations.

In Lt. Gov. Calley's video, he shares his personal connections to the Ronald McDonald House after his son was born two months premature.

Mittens can still be purchased at any participating McDonalds and online at www.rmhmm.org or www.rmhwesternmichigan.org
