3 charged in Muskegon County drug bust

MUSKEGON, MICH. - A trio of Muskegon County men are charged in the big drug bust we first told you about on Monday, March 6.

James Kitchen, Demarco Knox and Alfonzo Johnson are being held in the Muskegon County Jail on bond between $1 million and $2 million.

All three face charges relating to the distribution and production of large amounts of cocaine and meth. The men also face felony weapons charges.

Earlier: Police find drugs, guns during DEA search in Muskegon

Multiple police agencies including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency conducted searches on Sunday in Muskegon and Muskegon Heights.

Court records show Kitchen is a Department of Corrections employee in Muskegon.

The men will be back in court on March 22 for preliminary hearings.
