Arrest made for shooting, following standoff

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH - An arrest has been made in connection to shooting incident that injured a 24-year-old man. 

According to a release from the Grand Rapids Police department, a 35-year old man was arrested following a four-hour long standoff. 

The standoff occurred on on the 4800 block of Arbor Lane SE.Wednesday, March 8. The standoff ended before 5:15 p.m. 

Charges will be discussed with the Kent County Prosecutors office as early as Thursday. 

Police began to investigate a shooting, earlier in the day Wednesday after the 24-year-old man showed at a local hospital with 3 gunshot wounds. He was listed in critical condition.
