Authorities searching for man who fled traffic stop

KENT COUNTY, MICH. - Michigan state police are searching for a suspect after a man fled from a traffic stop on M6.

According to Kent County Sheriff's office one person fled on foot another was arrested. The authorities are looking  for a man who  is 5'8" 180 lbs,  wearing darker T-shirt, with longer black hair.  The Kent County Sheriff's department tweeted the information around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon. 

The sheriff's  department assisted Michigan State Police with the call and brought at K-9 unit  to the scene near the Gerald R Ford Airport and M-6 and Thronapple.

Anyone with information or who noticed suspicious activity was asked to call 911.
