KALAMAZOO, MICH. - The man, Portage Police say is a "person of interest" in his wife's disappearance appeared before a judge this morning.
Christopher Lockhart was in Kalamazoo District Court for a bond violation hearing. He entered a not guilty plea.
Lockhart's wife, Theresa, has been missing since May 18. In early June, police cited lack of communication, when they named him as a "person of interest" her disappearance. Their home in Portage was searched a few days later.
Lockhart has been arrested twice since then -- neither related to the disappearance of his wife. On July 6, he was arrested for malicious destruction of property. On July 17, Lockhart was arrested for a traffic offense, which he appeared in court for the next day.
