Former Allegan fire chief waives hearing, free on bond

The former Allegan Township Fire Chief is free on bond.

ALLEGAN, MICH. - Former Allegan District Fire Chief Matt Gillies waived his preliminary hearing this morning.

The 34-year-old is charged with sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl, recording it and uploading the video. Investigators say he also uploaded other videos of him performing sex acts over child porn, sometimes while at work.
