GRPD: Suspect sought, man critically injured in Burton Street shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Grand Rapids Police are investigating a shooting at the gas station on the corner of Burton Street and Palace Avenue early Saturday morning that left one man critically injured.

Police responded to a home just before 4 a.m. in the 2000 block of Jerome Avenue, where they found a a 41-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip. He was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition.

Early reports show the victim was at the gas station when several shots were fired at his vehicle, he then drove to the home on Jerome Avenue.
