Hope College warns of sexual assault on campus

HOLLAND, MICH. - Hope College is issuing an alert to its students involving a sexual assault on campus.

On their website, campus leaders posted the warning just before 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.

It reads: 

"Campus Safety received a report of a sexual assault that occurred at a Hope College cottage on campus early this morning. The suspect is known to the individual who was assaulted. The Holland Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident."

This is the fifth sexual assault reported on campus this fall. It's not known if this incident is related to the others.
