KALAMAZOO, MICH. - An arrest has been made after threats caused Kalamazoo Public Schools to increase security Friday, Oct. 7.
On Thursday, police received a tip about a social media threat of violence to Loy Norrix and Kalamazoo Central High Schools. Police worked through the night to uncover the person responsible.
Around 6 a.m. Friday, investigators arrested a 17-year-old Loy Norrix student. Police are not actively searching for any other suspects as they believe the teen acted alone.
