Kent County men arrested for child porn in separate investigations

KENT COUNTY, MICH. - The Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested two Kent County men on child pornography charges on Thursday.

44-year-old Richard Webb, of Nelson Township, was taken into custody after police served a search warrant at his home.

Police say Webb was found in possession of child sexually abusive material, and distributing it. Investigators say that during the investigation, they found that Webb was the owner and operator of an IT business in Cedar Springs.

He was also arraigned on a charge of using a computer to commit a crime.

A 39-year-old man in Grand Rapids is facing the same charges after a separate investigation.

The task force was assisted by the Grand Rapids Police Department during this investigation, which also found that the man is not a legal citizen. Federal agencies were notified of the case.
