Man arrested after 6-hour standoff ordered to stand trial

A man arrested by Walker police following a six-hour standoff last month is headed to trial.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - A man arrested by Walker police following a six-hour standoff on Sept. 20, has been ordered to stand trial.

Sean Foucault waived a preliminary hearing on charges of assault and unlawful imprisonment, sending the case to circuit court on Monday, Oct. 17.

He was a renter of a home on Miller Avenue near the Delta Plex. Police say Foucault pulled a weapon on the homeowner, who was able to escape.

Foucault live-streamed himself on Facebook during the standoff, which ended peacefully with his surrender.

He is being held on a $600,000 bond.
