ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, MICH. - There is no further threat to the public following a deadly stabbing at an Ottawa County mobile home park, police say.
Officers responded to the incident around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Allendale Meadows Mobile Home Park. An Ottawa County Sheriff's Department deputy says that there was a gathering at a home on Snow Mass Lane near Boyne Boulevard when a fight broke out in the roadway.
A man, only identified as a 26-year-old, was fatally stabbed by a 33-year-old Standale woman that he knew, according to a deputy. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was arrested.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing aren't yet known and the victims name is being withheld by authorities until the family can be notified.
