Police: Craigslist exchanged turned armed robbery in Kentwood

KENTWOOD, MICH. - Police in Kentwood are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that spurred from a Craigslist transaction gone wrong. 

It happened in the parking lot of the Quick Stop Party Store located on 48th Street SE Thursday afternoon. 

The victim arranged to meet the suspect in the parking lot. When they arrived, the suspect robbed him at gun point and stole cash and other items from him before running away.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Kentwood Police Department at 616-698-6580 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
